Little is an ethically produced zero waste clothing line. Every piece of clothing is cleverly designed so that no fabric is wasted in the process of making new forms of fashion.
Little is designed and handmade in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
HOW IS LITTLE ZERO WASTE?
Pattern pieces of each garment are designed to fit together like jigsaw puzzle so no fabric is wasted. This entails reimagining a new way of cutting but at the same time working within the traditional constraints of existing techniques of garment making.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
We made sure no textile goes to waste in the process of making. Everyone who works on every product gets a fair cut for their hard work. Slow fashion.
Enjoy a beautifully written little poem by Lea Redmond from Leafcutter Designs when receiving a piece of our creation.
The clothing label was originally created for Ms Redmond's 'Changing Clothes' Art Project. We have received her generous permission to adapt and use it to promote clothing sustainability through our products.
The efforts of all the 'hands' that made our brand is conveyed perfectly in this poem. We hope it will pass on the message of appreciation for all the farmers, seamstresses, pattern cutters, weavers and mother nature for making all these possible.
